Pet food, like most other industries, continues to maneuver through issues like labor shortages and supply chain disruptions. Keeping its focus on the top opportunities and challenges facing the industry, Petfood Forum 2022 will feature experts addressing these topics, including an opening keynote on leadership by Coach Ken Carter.
Scheduled for May 2-4 at the Kansas City Convention Center in Kansas City, Missouri, USA, Petfood Forum 2022 will kick off its conference portion with the opening session on May 3 by Carter, a former high school basketball coach best known for his powerful coaching style that inspired the film “Coach Carter.” Based on his experiences, he will share strategies on creating a workplace culture centered around accountability, integrity, teamwork and leadership to succeed.
On May 4, a panel discussion about the pet food workforce will include presentations on attracting and retaining frontline employees, plus how to increase employee engagement through an improved leadership culture. Other key issues covered during Petfood Forum conference sessions include safety and supply chain management, sustainability and insect protein. Concurrent tracks and general sessions will provide the latest updates on the market, consumer trends, nutrition and ingredient research, processing technologies, safety and pet food regulations.
