The preparations for Interzoo, the world’s leading fair for the pet supplies industry, are in full swing. The event is set to take place in Nuremberg from 24 to 27 May 2022. The organizer WZF (WirtschaftsgemeinschaftZoologischerFachbetriebe GmbH) has already received registrations from some 1,000 exhibitors from all around the world.
The international pet supplies industry can hardly wait to finally meet again in person on site in Nuremberg next year to experience the global diversity of innovative services and products for pets at Interzoo. Over the four-day event, exhibitors and visitors will have the opportunity to discuss in person the latest developments in the sector. There’s no substitute for feeling, smelling and testing products or for getting to know people personally, as these create the underlying spirit of trust for successful business relationships. Accordingly, there is a great deal of interest in the forthcoming trade fair: “The current level of registrations from more than 55 countries is very promising and we are pleased that so far, about 10 percent of registrations for Interzoo 2022 are from new exhibitors,” says Dr Rowena Arzt, Director Exhibitions at WZF.
The forthcoming Interzoo will also feature a Start-up-Area, as WZF would like to offer young companies from Germany and other countries the opportunity to showcase their firms on a specially designed area under special conditions. German start-ups can also apply for a subsidy from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi).
